Highlights from Heritage Day! Our Heritage Day celebration last week featured art, performances and the sharing of different traditions. It is really important for us to emphasise themes of diversity, inclusivity and solidarity when celebrating this national holiday.

Thank you to Arya and Junior for providing Sexual and Reproductive Health education to our grade 4 and 5 learners. The two social work students from @WitsUniversity put together a 3 day programme aimed at providing age-appropriate information and a safe space to ask questions.

I’m excited to become part Three2Six and to get to know the children, the teachers and everyone involved. I will do my best to assist wherever I can and hope to make a positive contribution to everyday school life by bringing creativity and energy to various activities.

A day at the theatre! 🎭 Our children visited the @NCTheatreSA to watch Aesop's Fables. The show included the stories of the lion and the mouse, the boy and the wolf, the wind and the sun, the ants and the grasshopper, the tortoise and the hare. It was a fun and lively outing!

And just like that… Term 3 is here! 🎉 After a well-deserved break, our children are back at the project and ready to learn, play and take on the final stretch of the school year. 📚✨ #term3 #backtoschool #educationforall

Thank you St Benedict's for helping us feed our community! Our partner school, St Benedict’s, made a contribution that allowed us to provide for our families during this xenophobic wave. With their donation we bought soup packs and mielie meal for all our families.

Week 2 of our holiday programme was filled with more brilliant activities for our learners to engage in! On the last day, the @UWEBristol teams presented the work they had done with the children to the parents and the children who put on a show to demonstrate what they learnt.
