U.S. Attorney David Metcalf of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced Thursday that four aliens, including two illegal aliens, have been charged with election-related crimes for illegally registering and/or illegally voting in federal elections.

The Democrats simply boycotted the room.
You cannot erase sex by skipping the hearing. Women will not be pushed off competition so that men can take their medals, scholarships, and locker rooms.
Women’s sports are for women. In 2026 we still cannot get bipartisan agreement on such a common sense issue?

She nails it on hospitals driving the cost in today’s system but I think we need to look upstream
Why did hospitals consolidate? Well of course some of the reason was money, but what were the driving factors?
The number one factor was a quickly consolidating insurance industry. Hospitals learned that you either consolidated or were run over by insurers when it came time to negotiate your contract
Doctors didn’t figure that out until it was too late. We were the last ones to find out and now have been forced to give up our practices to hospitals or insurers as we can’t expand and grow fast enough to keep up with their growth and the constant downward pressure on physician income from the government and insurers.
A “reset” will require not only addressing hospitals, but also insurers. While consolidated insurance historically lead to lower prices, the downstream effects are devastating and today’s insurers are so big that they would be corrupted by their absolute power if the government were to limit hospitals and doctors from similarly consolidating.
We have a lot of work ahead of us to fix the mistakes of a generation of legislators and regulators who turned over healthcare to corporate interests.
When hospitals control everything who wins?

Washington’s College Aid Question
Why are we paying for this especially when the state is broke?
Washington doesn’t publish an exact count of college students by immigration status. But the state’s own Student Achievement Council provides some revealing numbers.
In 2023–24, 3,067 students who filed the WASFA received the Washington College Grant. WASFA is used by students who cannot or choose not to file the federal FAFSA, including undocumented students who generally aren’t eligible for federal financial aid.
Washington’s residency rules also allow qualifying undocumented students to receive in-state tuition and state financial aid, provided they meet the applicable residency and program requirements.
The broader question deserves an honest public debate:
Why are Washington taxpayers funding state college grants for students who are ineligible for federal aid, while families who follow the rules can still struggle to pay the full cost of sending their own kids to college?
If Washington wants to make college more affordable, shouldn’t taxpayers also be asking whether the same assistance should be available to every Washington family based on the same rules?
This isn’t about whether these students should pursue an education.
It’s about who pays, who qualifies, and whether taxpayers believe the system is fair.

Not sure what you mean by America’s space program being above politics. Leadership has been politically appointed since inception, national space policy is established by the executive branch, oversight and funding come from Congress, and industry lobbies everyone extensively. I would say it has always been very political, and if you love America’s space program, being politically savvy is an asset. I have also donated $30 million to charity this year, which is also not illegal.

Abigail Spanberger’s parole board is considering releasing the infamous Ocean View rapist who received a life sentence for terrorizing women in Norfolk & Va Beach. Here is a quote from a victim: “A piece of me died that day. There's a piece of me I will never get back.”

🚨New: One of the most infamous criminals in modern Virginia history could soon be released from prison, even though a state investigation found the rapist should not be eligible for parole.
One of the man’s victims told me she’s terrified Gov. Abigail Spanberger's new parole board will let him out, even though he was sentenced to over two hundred years in prison.
In the late 1980s, the serial rapist terrorized multiple women in Hampton Roads.
Anthony McGaha was dubbed the “Ocean View Rapist.”
McGaha was convicted of breaking into the homes of six different women and raping them.
To the shock of his surviving victims, he has a parole hearing next week and he could be released.
“It was four in the morning and I was sleeping,” one of the victims told me. “Safe and sound in my home, and I was woken up by someone on top of me with a knife to my throat.”
“And your child was in the other room?” Minock asked.
“Yes,” she replied. “A piece of me died that day. There's a piece of me I will never get back.”
“If he gets out of prison, I firmly believe, and I'm not the only one that thinks that, that he will rape again,” she said.
Former Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares sent a letter to the parole board urging them not to release McGaha.
“The record on McGaha's dangerousness and lack of remorse could not be clearer,” said Miyares. “He told investigators he 'wasn't raping' his victims; he was 'making love to them,' while separately admitting he did not have their consent. At sentencing, Judge Robert W. Stewart specifically noted McGaha's utter lack of remorse and his belief that he was 'invincible.' That combination of predatory calculation, total absence of empathy, and a self-image of invincibility is precisely the profile of an offender who remains a threat to public safety today, regardless of his age or time served.”
