Omitting data to make your point only undermines it further.
The CDC reported 42,348 firearm deaths last year. Suicides accounted for 28,000 of them.
That leaves 14,383 homicides by firearm out of 341.8 million; That’s 4.2 deaths per 100,000.
Know what else has a death rate greater than 4.2/100k?
Almost everything.
Heart disease 155, cancer 140, accidents 55, stroke 40, respiratory disease 34,kidney/liver disease 13.
To claim that ‘America has a firearm problem’ based off of a single metric which includes self harm is incredibly misleading- and to call for the removal of a constitutional right based of a lie by omission even worse.
The media says there are concerns among Soldiers that they could be identified during a live stream of Hasan’s execution.
To be clear, I would do this myself without a mask. Millions of us would.
But if there’s legitimate concern about anonymity, it’s Fort Hood….
Use a tank.
Does anyone know Randy Weingarten's end game?
She just flails about, criticizing things that are probably good for the US, in general, and our students, specifically.
What's she hope to gain?
Not here for the cash (obv.), but has the X algorithm changed? I'm seeing more mid content from accounts that used to post quality stuff less frequently.
DAMN. This is EXACTLY what we've been warning about.
And Doc Gray is one of the great ones. A genuine basketball purist who understands the game, loves the sport, and wants nothing more than to see it played with integrity.
The WNBA cannot afford to lose the "new" fans who came to the sport and understand it far better than the ideological idiots who have hijacked the league's culture for the last 30 years.
Think about the staggering irony.
Caitlin Clark brought millions of passionate, knowledgeable basketball fans to a league that had spent decades desperately trying to attract them.
And now some of those very fans are walking away, disgusted by the double standards, favoritism, and institutional dysfunction surrounding the game.
**WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY CATASTROPHIC WAY TO SQUANDER A GENERATIONAL OPPORTUNITY.**
I'm praying for sweeping changes this offseason because the WNBA desperately needs people like Doc Gray.
**YOU DON'T GROW A SPORT BY DRIVING AWAY THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY LOVE BASKETBALL.**
WNBA Reporter: "What are you telling your players heading into tonight's win or go home Game 3 vs the Indiana Fever?"
Las Vegas Coach: "I told my team to sweep the legs of their white women."
WNBA Reporter: "I can't wait to see that. Back to you in the studio."
The media refused to show you these stories this morning.
1. New Jersey registered 6,600 noncitizens to vote through a software glitch. About 400 cast ballots in 2024. Governor Mikie Sherrill announced it in July.
2. A Survey Center poll found 66 percent of Democrat women blame men for their problems. 18 percent of Republican women said the same.
3. Rebecca Bennett is running for Congress in New Jersey. She was asked her net worth three times. She did not answer.
4. Berkeley, California has 52 Flock surveillance cameras. The city council voted in May to keep them. The same officials campaigned on civil liberties.
There are 36 days until the midterm elections.
You know it amazes me that so many people still listen to music from the 70's.
I promise you, in the 1970's no one was listening to music from the 1920's.
