Average athletes bring energy when they’re playing well. Better athletes bring energy when the team is playing well. Good athletes bring energy even when they’re struggling. Great athletes still raise the standard when they’re tired, frustrated, on the bench, or getting none of the credit.

Most athletes wait for their turn to start learning. Better athletes study the rep before theirs. They hear the correction.
Watch what broke down.
See what Coach wants changed. Then they step in already one rep smarter. Your rep starts before your name gets called.

Getting points taken off your homework because it’s turned in late is crazy to me. “But it's just a couple of points...it's no big deal." Over a semester, a couple points here and couple oints there turns a 91% into an 89%. Or an 81% to 79%. That's a full grade point less to calculate your GPA... A FULL POINT You’re better than that. Turn it in on time.

“I didn’t do everything” and “I did nothing” Are not the same thing. Keep what worked and fix what didn’t. You’ve got this…
39
That doesn’t mean ignoring what slipped. Notice it…fix it. But don’t throw away the progress you already earned just because the week wasn’t perfect.
54
A week can be incomplete without being wasted. Missing something doesn’t erase the progress you did make. You’re not back at zero.
47
But that isn’t what happened. You’re looking at everything you didn’t do… And using it to erase everything you did.
46
It’s Sunday night. You remember the workout you missed. The assignment you didn’t finish. The practice that went badly. And your brain decides… “I did nothing this week.”

If you're an athlete in high school... Your GPA isn't just a number. It's a resume. It’s proof you can handle the pressure before the scholarship. Want to play at the next level? Start showing it in the classroom. Because classroom habits reflect locker room habits...commitment, dedication, the ability to make the tough decisions. You’ve got this...

Parents don’t always know how to say it. Athletes don’t always want to hear it from their parents. That’s where 6AM Practice comes in. The bridge between a parent’s heart and an athlete’s brain.

You wouldn’t wait until game day to ask Coach about a play you don’t understand. Don’t wait until your grade becomes an eligibility problem to ask your teacher.
45
Then another lesson builds on it. Then the test does, too. What looked like one confusing step has quietly become a much bigger gap.

The teacher keeps going. The next assignment uses that missing step. Now you’re not learning the new part. You’re guessing through it.
36
A grade that can put your eligibility at risk may start weeks before the grade ever drops. It can start with one thing in class you didn’t understand… And didn’t ask about.
51
Every student-athlete has had a moment in class when the lesson stopped making sense. You didn’t raise your hand and the teacher kept going.
39
You wouldn’t wait until game day to ask Coach about a play you don’t understand. Don’t wait until your grade puts your eligibility at risk to ask your teacher.
40
Go back to the first step you can’t explain. That’s the question to ask now. Don’t wait until the whole class feels impossible.

You keep turning in work, but now you’re guessing. The next assignment uses that missing step. Then the test does, too.
