The Fake Doctor Shirin Saeidi has now filed a federal lawsuit against AAIRIA and me, Lawdan Bazargan, along with the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees, University System President Jay Silveria, Chancellor Charles Robinson, Dean Brian Raines, Arkansas State Senator Dan Sullivan, and several other university officials and individuals. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas and includes claims arising from the campaign surrounding her dismissal from the University of Arkansas. We will not be intimidated into silence. For nearly two years, we have exercised our First Amendment rights to speak and petition the government by raising documented concerns through universities, public records, elected officials, and appropriate institutional channels. A lawsuit does not erase those records, and allegations in a complaint are not findings of fact. We look forward to responding through the legal process and presenting the evidence, and by demonstrating that the complaint seeks illegally to suppress my First Amendment rights through abuse of the court system.
