@asha_shar, Brazilians are a people who deeply love video games, but we suffer under governments that heavy-tax electronics, leaving us paying more than half the cost in taxes alone.
XBOX is no longer officially sold here, and we no longer have physical media available either.
The average Brazilian struggles just to buy a console by financing it in 12 monthly installments.
Games at launch? They cost around 350 reais -extremely expensive and an absolute luxury when compared to Brazil’s minimum wage.
Game Pass is a fantastic service - I won't even get into its price - but we see no marketing here, no consoles, no physical games, and communication is virtually zero. Everywhere we look, we see PlayStation, we see Nintendo... But we don't see XBOX green.
I know the chances of this reaching someone who can pass it on to you are slim, but it makes no sense for you to abandon us like this. Brazil is a market with huge potential; what destroys us is our government, yet we always find a way to show our love for gaming. XBOX needs a rebirth in Brazil.
We had a beautiful history with the Xbox 360 here, but step by step, we were pushed aside until we were completely forgotten.
There are true fans of the brand here. XBOX could dominate the next generation, but we need the chance to buy a console. For that to happen, we need you in Brazil. Please, look at us.
