We support the new Govt National Cancer Board. Its job is to check that plans to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment & support are being put into practice across England. the ultimate aim is to improve the care and treatment of cancer patients.

We’re reforming the National Cancer Board to drive forward progress on cancer care.
The Board will oversee progress on the National Cancer Plan and help identify where further action is needed to give every patient the best possible care.

A targeted therapy called tivozanib helped some patients with advanced #kidneycancer keep their cancer from getting worse for several months when used after earlier treatments had stopped working.

Scans such as CT, MRI & ultrasound are being used more often, many #kidneycancers are now found when being scanned for another reason.
This is good progress because it means some cancers are found earlier. It also raises important questions?
