8) This study is the culmination of a 10+year work with @DrRanaMcKay, now @UCSDCancer It all started with a conversation back in 2013, when Rana was a junior attending, pregnant with her 2nd child, and passionately discussing one of the biggest unmet needs in kidney cancer; patients with bone metastases, who consistently had poor outcomes despite available systemic therapies. That conversation sparked a decade of work dedicated to understanding the biology of bone metastases.

The future of immunotherapy continues to evolve! Our fifth session explored emerging approaches that could shape the next generation of kidney cancer treatment, from the microbiome and novel antibody therapies to tumor antigens and AI-driven protein design. Quality of life data from LITESPARK-22 #KCRS26 (pembro+belzutifan in adjuvant RCC). Three different tools (FKSI/EORTCQLQ30/GP5) show a temporary dip in global and physical/role function QOL while on therapy, which didn’t hit predefined clinically meaningful levels. This is consistent with the reversible belzutifan toxicity signal (fatigue/anaemia). There is a need to look at quality of life analysis in different ways @BethN01 @DrChoueiri @montypal @Annals_Oncology @OncoAlert
