Betsy Fogle’s voting record is scary. She voted against Missouri’s Infants Born Alive Act (HB 2012, 2022), which protects the lives of babies born before or after an attempted abortion. The bill Fogle voted against is similar to federal legislation, signed in 2002, that passed both chambers of Congress with almost unanimous bipartisan support. Fogle’s no vote demonstrates her support for abortion with no limits – even up to the point of killing a fully developed baby that can live and breathe on its own. Fogle also supports taxpayer funding of abortion providers (HB 2634, 2024), an unfair policy a majority of Americans oppose.

TUPELO, Miss. — Resurfaced comments from Texas Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico expose his far-left ideologies, calling parents who refused to acknowledge their children’s gender identity as showing signs of “abusive” behavior. “I think there are some folks that would think that if you deny your child’s gender identity, that’s incredibly harmful. And whether or not we label it with the term abuse, it’s abusive for sure,” Talarico said in 2019 while speaking about HB 1910. This bill was designed to ensure that parents would not be considered guilty of child abuse in cases deciding custody if they refused to affirm their child’s gender identity. According to Fox News, “Talarico’s resurfaced comments add to a growing pile of past remarks that cut against his efforts to paint himself as a moderate on issues like gender, policing and border security as he attempts to win over Texas, a historically Republican-leaning state.” “No parent should ever be accused of being abusive for standing on the biological truth of their child’s gender and refusing to bow to dangerous ideologies,” said Walker Wildmon, CEO of AFA Action, the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association. “One’s sex is not a changeable state; it is a biological and scientific truth. No amount of confusion, manipulation or medical procedure changes your God-given biology. To accuse parents of abuse simply for affirming that truth is absurd. The true abuse lies with the adults who force hormones and bodily mutilation surgeries on minors under the guise of ‘gender affirming care.’”

The church's weakness stems from fearing man more than God. Pastors must teach biblical living, not just comfort. Strong pulpits create strong Christians who fear God, not man, and speak truth.

Blaming all evil on mental illness ignores a fundamental truth: sin resides in the human heart. From Adam and Eve's fall, we are prone to sin and capable of egregious acts. The church must address this sin problem, not just symptoms.

25 years. 25 years since we sat around living room TVs, stopped in restaurants and storefronts, and gathered in classrooms watching the unthinkable unfold. We remember where we were. We remember what we saw and how we felt. And we remember how, in the days that followed, our America stood united. But our children don't, because they weren't there. If the next generation is going to remember, we have to tell them. We have to tell them about the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the way a hurting nation came together. And if we want them to know what a united America looks like, we have to show them. Let them see us pray for our country together. Serve our neighbors together. Remember that we are neighbors before we are opponents. Our children may not remember September 11, 2001. Hon. Lee Rudofsky was nominated by President Trump to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit on August 12, 2026.
