This is my only takeaway from yesterday. Our form and football has been much better ever since MLS stepped into our midfield. He gives us balance, press resistance, composure, and great timing in the midfield. Whole team plays better with him in the side.

Everyone needs to relax - first poor performance since April. I’d be more concerned if we played well and got outplayed - but we just weren’t at it. Brighton deserved the 3pts but it still took two great long range strikes + us being hopeless in front of goal for them to win.

International break comes at a good time, just hope our players are smart about it. Hincapie, White and Mosquera with muscular niggles - if not back Saturday (unlikely) they need to use that time to recover. Those who had a long WC run/short pre-season should be using it to rest.
