The Pakistani military regime has once again spread claims that the attacker in the Kohat attack was an Afghan national.
The question is: if they can identify the attacker’s identity so quickly, why can’t they prevent such attacks in the first place?
It is clear, however, that this is part of their own agenda, and that they are seeking to create an excuse for a war with Afghanistan.

Statement by the Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Regarding the Pakistani Military Regime’s Brutal Aggression
September 24, 2026
On September 24, 2026, the Pakistani military regime once again carried out acts of aggression and launched airstrikes against Afghanistan’s Kandahar, Paktia, and Khost provinces.
As a result of this criminal aggression, four Afghan civilians were martyred.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns these indiscriminate and cowardly attacks, describing them as a flagrant violation of all principles and a clear act of aggression and crime.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assures the people that these shameless acts of aggression and attacks by the Pakistani military regime will be met with an appropriate response through a decisive stance.
In an apparent attempt to justify such brazen aggression and oppression, Pakistani military circles spread a claim yesterday that drones had allegedly crossed into their territory from Afghanistan. Likewise, they once again launched an aerial attack on Afghan territory, apparently in an attempt to justify their inability to deal with their internal problems.
Such reckless, careless, and hostile actions will undoubtedly provoke the anger of the Afghan people and will have adverse consequences for the Pakistani military regime.

Pakistan condemns in the strongest possible terms the deliberate and unlawful incursion into Pakistan by drones on 23 September 2026, launched from Afghan territory. This constitutes a blatant violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and is a grave and unacceptable act of aggression.
For years, Pakistan has repeatedly conveyed its grave concerns to the Afghan Taliban regime and its interlocutors regarding the continued presence of terrorist sanctuaries and their support networks on Afghan soil. Instead of dismantling these networks and taking credible and verifiable action against those using Afghan territory to perpetrate terrorism against Pakistan, the Afghan Taliban regime has chosen to escalate the situation through hostile drone operations against Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Air Defence systems detected, tracked and neutralised all intruding platforms before they could reach any of their intended targets, comprehensively thwarting the attempted attack. In exercise of its sovereign right to self-defence, Pakistan conducted precision aerial and drone strikes against 10 locations in Afghanistan used for launching and storing these drones. The strikes were deliberate, precise, calibrated and proportionate and strictly limited to identified military objectives directly linked to the attempted attacks against Pakistan.
Pakistan will neither accept nor tolerate attacks launched from Afghan territory, whether by terrorist groups or by the Afghan Taliban regime itself. Any violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty will be met with an immediate and decisive response. Threats, denials or attempts to deflect responsibility by Afghan Taliban will neither alter the facts nor constrain Pakistan’s inherent right to defend its territory, its people and its national security.
Pakistan calls upon the Afghan Taliban regime to immediately cease all hostile activity against Pakistan and fulfil its international obligations by taking effective, concrete, verifiable and sustained action against terrorist entities operating from Afghan soil. Afghan territory must not be used to launch attacks or conduct hostile operations against Pakistan.
Pakistan does not seek escalation and remains committed to regional peace, dialogue and constructive engagement. This commitment must not be mistaken for weakness or an unlimited tolerance of hostile actions. Pakistan will defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity and the lives of its citizens with full resolve and will take all necessary measures to protect them. Any further provocative act by Afghan Taliban will be responded with firm and resolute response.

The Pakistani military regime will face severe consequences for its crimes. The Kohat explosion was itself an operation carried out by the regime’s intelligence agency, the ISI, aimed at creating the grounds for a new wave of unrest and instability.
It can now be understood that the ISI had a sinister objective behind the Kohat incident and yesterday’s false claims regarding drone attacks.
Pakistan is using these crimes as a means to evade the commitments it made under the Makkah agreement, while ignoring all the measures Afghanistan has taken over the past several months in cooperation with regional efforts to promote security.
Instead, Pakistan moved toward facilitating and coordinating forces of violence and instability. When these efforts failed to produce the desired results, it staged incidents inside its own country and then used them as a pretext to carry out airstrikes against Afghanistan.
This demonstrates that the Pakistani military regime understands only the language of force. Its actions and crimes will come at a heavy and severe cost, God willing.
