Jacksonville High School has been fined and placed on probation for violating AHSAA recruiting rules. As a result: - Any students in violation of the rule will be deemed permanently ineligible at Jacksonville - Head coach Jeremy Sullivan and assistant Phileepae Holloway are suspended from coaching in the AHSAA for one year - Jacksonville football will be placed on restrictive probation for 2026 (they can play their 10-game regular season schedule, but barred from the postseason). - Games against Jacksonville will not count (so all 4A Region 6 games will not count against them, nor any tiebreakers since they are ineligible for championship play) - Jacksonville must forfeit all games won that ineligible students participated in.

I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support yesterday for AHSFHS.org. I will never be able to respond to the hundreds of messages, texts and emails. But I want to thank each of you for your responses and kind words of encouragement. They mean a lot to me. I do have some great news in the fact everything is back to normal on the website. We have three heroes today. Gary Harris, the Sports Director at WVUA in Tuscaloosa, Alex Boothe and someone who works in cyber security for the space industry in Huntsville came to the rescue and solved what I had been led to believe was an unsolvable problem. I was not going to post anything today but wanted to clear up a few things. First thing is no data is lost. Everything is backed up in four different places. Secondly, I know the issues completely. Thirdly, I know the solutions. Somehow, someway everything or almost everything will be back online one day. It just won’t be today and it may have a different name. I appreciate the outpouring of support but I just need some time to find the best solution not just any solution. Trust me. Money is not an answer. Every security precaution was taken. I’ve talked to the best minds around and the only solution would take untold hundreds of hours of work. But I will find a way.

Interesting numbers now that rosters are official. For what it's worth, a "transfer" is anyone who transferred in after the third day of 7th grade, so just because someone has a T next to their name, doesn't necessarily mean they came this year.
