The Clippers’ current plan is to keep this spot open as training camp begins next week. Perhaps that changes based on who becomes available around the league, but I’m told there’s no immediate two-way signing in the works.

The Mavericks have today formally re-signed Dwight Powell and league sources tell @TheSteinLine that Dallas has not ruled out trying to create a roster spot for him.
Media Day begins now at the @AACenter with the Mavericks already carrying the maximum 15 standard NBA contracts.
Dwight Powell was with the Mavericks this week at the Kyrie Irving-led minicamp in Los Angeles and the expectation, league sources say, is that Powell will receive a formal training camp invite even though Dallas currently has a full roster with 15 standard NBA contracts.

If true, this is literally Joe Smith in a different font. If the NBA finds evidence then it should be 5 1sts.

Obviously biased but, if Nembhard cares about playing opportunity I’d look at signing a two-way Clippers.
Garland is injury prone, Wagler’s a rookie, Beal is injured, Miller is injured, and Dick/Dunn aren’t playmakers. Real path to playing time in LA.
UPDATE: Ryan Nembhard is expected to have multiple suitors on potential two-ways if he is indeed waived by Charlotte. sources say, with the Nuggets prime among them.
Nembhard had a 28-and-10 game in Denver as a rookie and a 23-assist game against Chicago in the season finale.
