As Alex shared, our first community donation of 1000$ is going to Animal Rescue Corps @ARCorps , but this journey was never meant to be about the team alone.
Community is everything and we want the Buddy community involved in every piece of good we build together. So we’re adding something from us

Today is International Dog Day & it feels like the perfect day to begin. ❤️🐾
Buddy’s own journey began in Georgia, and saving a rescued dog is rarely the work of one person. It takes rescuers, volunteers, transporters, families and communities all choosing to care.
That is why today means so much to me.
Our first Buddy community donation of $1,000 is going to Animal Rescue Corps @ARCorps . (Attached Images)

ARC has been helping animals since 2010 & were active in the rescue world when Buddy was found in Georgia in 2013.
Buddy’s journey depended on a wider network of rescuers, transporters and people working across the region to move dogs from where they were found toward safety, ARC has been operational on this since we found Buddy. Which makes this first donation feel especially meaningful to us. ❤️
They step into cases of neglect, cruelty, overcrowding and emergency rescue, providing veterinary care, rehabilitation, transport and support to give animals another chance.
This donation is not just a number. It can become food, medicine, safe shelter, transport, treatment and hope for dogs who are still waiting for their chance.
As I write this, the Buddy team and I are already reaching out to more rescues, including more people and organizations connected to Buddy’s own rescue journey. We want this to become something lasting.
I recently returned to my old Bitcointalk account to thank this incredible community for bringing Buddy’s story back into my life after all these years. Now I get to record something else: Our first donation, and the beginning of this beautiful long-term journey together.
