Austin is not the same place of 20 years ago. We are known worldwide as a tech hub and innovation center. We have the chance to lead in how modern tech communities are seen in the ways we impact the world.
Technology isn’t a device. It isn’t an industry. Technology is the application of knowledge to achieve a result. And by that definition, Texas has always been a technology state!
Austin’s next chapter will be built by people willing to take risks, share ideas and invest in the community around them. What are you doing to ensure tomorrow’s Austin is better the today?
Community, collaboration, and conversations… Let’s have more of these in our Austin business community more often. ATC is seeking to talk with those who believe “together” is better than the opposite.
What is your company doing to help make Austin’s community better? Being a good “corporate citizen” is not some old-fashioned idea. It is part of what contributes to thriving ecosystems. Austin has more changes coming and your company can have impact.
There are a lot of good things happening around Austin’s ecosystem. The new phase of “what is tech?” provides amazing opportunity firmout region. The key is to unite the whole and not get excited when divisions become the norm. Respect for past, present, and future is leadership.
Enjoyed the "State of Tech" event yesterday hosted by @AustinChamber and @ATCouncil. Lots of reasons for optimism if you're growing a business here, even if you're outside of tech. As long as local funding and local hiring continues, the city will thrive.
