Self-care isn’t always about adding something new to your routine. Sometimes it’s about recognising the habits that aren’t helping you and giving yourself permission to let them go.
Which habit are you ready to ghost? 💛

We need to stop using #bipolar as another way of saying our mood has changed. We all experience changes in our mood, but using “bipolar” casually to describe a changeable mood can minimise the reality of living with the condition and contribute to misunderstanding and stigma.
ALT Bright yellow AWARE NI graphic headed “Someone with bipolar wants you to know…” A torn sheet of lined notebook paper features the handwritten quote: “It isn’t just mood swings – they are intense and overwhelming.” Beneath it, the graphic reads: “We all experience mood swings but bipolar is characterised by extremes.” The AWARE NI 30th anniversary logo appears at the bottom.
