I was talking to an event host recently, and one thing they said stayed with me. Getting people to buy tickets, even online, is already hard… but somehow, that’s not even the hardest part. That got me curious, so I asked why. They explained that after all the planning, promoting, and effort that goes into creating an event, many creators still struggle with having more control over the experience and the community they are building. And honestly, that made me think. An event is not just about selling tickets. It’s about the people who show up, the connections created, and the community that grows after. So I started looking into better ways creators could manage access, tickets, and their communities. That’s when I found @UnlockProtocol Unlock is an open protocol that allows creators to create smart-contract tickets and memberships as NFTs. You can set your own price, create your own rules, and use Keys to give people access to your events or communities. The more I learned about it, the more I realized it’s not only for event hosts. Artists, podcasters, newsletter writers, and community builders can also use Unlock to create better ways for people to connect with their work.
