This is an incredibly low-IQ line of questioning.
Netflix’s own press release named Dana White and Turki Alalshikh as the presenting promoters.
There are two organizations driving this event: Netflix and the Kingdom. Both are publicly telling you Dana is the promoter.
Dana participating in the marketing is part of the Netflix agreement. You seriously think they’re spending nine figures on this event and aren’t going to use every promotional lever available because somebody got his feelings hurt?
Or because of some meaningless memorandum? Follow the money. Follow what the people actually putting on the event are saying. Follow the people with actual SKIN IN THE GAME- DANA, NICK, TURKI, NETFLIX, SELA.

So as suspected, the entire time, Eddie Hearn was NOT doing this for British boxing fans but entirely for his own ego in his battle against Dana White.
Truly pathetic.
The “issue” that is jeopardizing Fury-Joshua is Dana White’s involvement, multiple sources told @SInow. @Turki_alalshikh, who is bankrolling the fight, wants him as a promoter. AJ and Eddie Hearn don’t, and have a contract that says Zuffa can’t be. Fight very much in peril.

All the other major promotional companies have exclusivity deals with DAZN. Who else can really promote this fight if it’s not TKO/Dana White?
Nick Khan did the deal with Netflix that led to this fight being on Netflix. Without TKO’s involvement, this fight would not have ended up on Netflix, because TKO was the party with the established Netflix relationship through WWE, and none of the other parties involved have that same direct relationship with Netflix. Netflix has a 10 year, $5 billion deal with TKO/WWE, so their relationship is already established and instrumental in bringing this fight to Netflix. Netflix’s intention is to take a fight that many view as a domestic fight and turn it into a global event, and they believe the best way to do that is with Dana White and TKO’s involvement. Both Netflix and Turki want TKO/Dana White involved because they have a huge global profile and an enormous marketing machine, particularly in the US. Unlike Matchroom and Queensberry, which are exclusive to DAZN and can’t be involved in this fight, TKO and Dana White/Zuffa have multiple rights fee agreements with multiple streaming platforms. No other combat sports or sports entertainment company has the ability to cross-promote like TKO.

Dana can get AJ & Tyson on the Pat McAfee show, the Tonight Show or any program tomorrow, something Eddie can’t do. That stuff is valuable to Netflix who want to promote the fight to casual fans in the US
It’s silly because Dana adds NOTHING to the fight (unless he wants to face Eddie in the co-main). There isn’t a single combat sports fan who would be like “WOW! DANA WHITE IS PROMOTING???”
