We, through our subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, have commissioned Phase-I of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) component of our FDRE project located at Kelan Village, Bikaner, Rajasthan. Phase-I comprises 53.63 MW / 300 MWh of BESS capacity out of our project’s total 300 MW / 1,581 MWh BESS capacity. The project marks our first assured off-peak power supply project, for which we have signed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited and have long-term project finance with REC. With this commissioning milestone, we have crossed the 4 GWh milestone in operational BESS capacity, with total operational capacity of 4.16 GWh. Through our subsidiary ACME Renewtech Private Limited, we have commissioned Phase-I comprising 66.68 MW of solar capacity at Kelan Village in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The commissioned capacity forms part of our first hybrid renewable energy project, combining 300 MW of solar capacity with 100 MW of wind capacity. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the project has been signed with NTPC Limited, with long-term project financing from PFC. With this commissioning, our operational renewable energy capacity is now approximately 3,057 MW. We have secured INR 1,571 crore long-term project funding from India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL) for the construction and development of the ACME Renewtech Sixth 300 MW assured peak power project in Rajasthan. IIFCL is the sole lender for the project, with a repayment tenor of 19 years. This marks IIFCL’s first sole greenfield finance to ACME. With this milestone, the overall financing secured by us during this fiscal stands at INR 10,976 crore. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for this project has been executed with SECI Limited for a period of 25 years at a tariff of INR 6.28/unit. The project combines multiple renewable energy technologies including Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet the supply obligations under its PPA ensuring higher predictability and dispatchability. The project entails a total capex of INR 2123 crore and forms part of our broader battery-storage capital deployment programme for the current financial year. We have successfully completed INR 2,147 crore refinancing, thereby redeeming our existing NCDs. Concurrently, the underlying offshore dollar bonds have also been fully redeemed. The refinancing covers 12 operational SPVs with a cumulative capacity of 450 MW under the Restricted Group (RG) Structure. The long-term refinancing has been availed from National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID), reducing the borrowing cost by approximately 150 basis points across these issuing SPVs, resulting in stronger project cash flows and an enhanced long-term capital structure. Our RG Structure, comprising 12 operational solar assets, is provisionally rated AA- by CARE Ratings, with 56% of the overall capacity tied up with Central Utilities, including SECI and NTPC. We have secured INR 3,404.57 crore in long-term project funding from Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) for our ACME Urja One Pvt Ltd (Phase III) 250 MW FDRE project, supporting its development and construction. PFC will serve as the sole financier for the project, with a repayment tenor of 19 years. This milestone takes our total project funding raised during the current fiscal to INR 6,051 crore. The project spans Fatehgarh-II in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and Jamkhambhaliya in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat. It integrates solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to meet supply obligations while ensuring higher predictability and dispatchability. We have signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), through our subsidiary ACME Renewtech Fifth Private Limited, for a 300 MW ISTS-connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Renewable Energy Project. The project will utilize our already secured ISTS connectivity at high-irradiation and wind zones and will supply power at a minimum annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 30%.
