I think having trading bros is one of the most underrated things in trading.
And by trading bros, I don’t mean people who simply send you setups or ask, “Buy or sell?”
I mean people who share the same vision, goals, hunger, discipline and obsession to become better.
Let me tell you a story.
Back in February this year
@Mrkhameex , three other friends and I created a small trading group.
The idea was simple:
Share our vision.
Share opportunities.
Share knowledge.
Keep each other accountable.
And most importantly, grow together.
At that time, only one person in the group was consistently profitable, khameex
He was already ahead of us, but instead of keeping everything to himself, he shared his experience, ideas, lessons, and advice with us.
Fast-forward to today, three of us, including me, have received payouts.
From February until now, we’ve collectively withdrawn a strong 5 figures from prop firms alone.
And honestly, I’m grateful.
Grateful to khameex for being one of the people who helped create that environment.
But here’s the part I really want you to understand:
Your trading strategy doesn’t have to be the same.
In our group:
One trader focuses only on NQ.
Another focuses on XAUUSD.
Another is a GBPUSD monster.
I trade GOLD and EURUSD.
Different markets.
Different strategies.
Different personalities.
Different approaches.
Yet we are still moving forward together.
That’s the beauty of having the right people around you.
You don’t need someone who trades exactly like you.
You need people who understand the journey.
People who will tell you when you’re wrong.
People who will celebrate your wins without jealousy.
People who will remind you to stay disciplined after a loss.
People who can share an opportunity with you instead of keeping it to themselves.
People who are genuinely happy when you succeed.
So how do you build your own trading brotherhood?
1. Find people who are genuinely serious.
Don’t build your circle around people who only talk about Lamborghinis and screenshots
Look for people who actually study, execute, journal, review and improve.
2. Start small.
You don’t need 50 traders in a group.
Even 3–5 serious people can make a huge difference.
Quality > quantity.
3. Share knowledge, not just signals.
Instead of constantly asking, “What are you buying?”
Ask:
“What did you see?”
“Why did you take that trade?”
“What did you do wrong?”
“What can I improve?”
That’s how everyone grows.
4. Hold each other accountable.
If someone keeps revenge-trading, overleveraging or breaking their rules, call it out.
A real trading brother won’t always tell you what you want to hear.
Sometimes, he’ll tell you what you NEED to hear.
5. Celebrate each other’s wins.
Your brother getting a payout doesn’t reduce your chances of getting one.
Someone else’s success is proof that the goal is possible.
Celebrate it. Learn from it. Then go back to work.
6. Never compare your journey.
One person might pass a challenge in 5 days.
Another might take 3 months.
One might trade NQ.
Another might trade Gold.
One might have a $10K account.
Another might have $100K
The goal is not to become identical.
The goal is to become better.
And most importantly, build relationships beyond trading.
Because trading can give you money, but the right people can give you perspective, opportunities, knowledge, accountability and sometimes the push you need when things get difficult.
If you’re trading alone right now, find your people.
Not people who will make you feel good about bad decisions.
Find people who will make you better.
To sir khameex and everyone in my trading circle, thank you for being part of the journey.
February was just the beginning.
We’ve come a long way, and Insha’Allah, this is only the beginning of what we’re building together.
“The right people don’t just walk with you toward the goal; they help you become the person capable of reaching it.”
