Guys, read the quoted post below.
I literally spoke about this last night on my pinned X post that Jason commented under.
I believe we are going to see a significant pickup in Chinese crypto activity this cycle, and WangChai is positioned incredibly well if that thesis plays out.
Now today,
@WatcherGuru posts that former UBS Asia investment banking head Joseph Chee believes China will eventually reopen access to crypto and trigger a new “supercycle.”
At the same time, Jason from Flap is underneath my WangChai post saying:
“Chinese Doge is going global 😁”
Pay attention to how narratives form.
WangChai doesn't need China to reopen crypto for the thesis to work. But increasing Chinese participation and mindshare would create an extremely favourable environment for a culturally native Chinese Doge.
Doge is universally understood. WangChai (旺柴) gives that narrative a Chinese identity: born from WeChat culture, a Chinese name, a meaning tied to prosperity and wealth.
And importantly, it can still be understood instantly by Western participants.
Chinese Doge.
That's the simplicity of the narrative.
Now, if Chinese crypto activity meaningfully accelerates while
$Doge breaks prior cycle highs, I think WangChai is positioned at the intersection of two very powerful narratives.
I said last night that I believe the timing, launchpad, chain and people are lining up.
Less than 24 hours later, the thesis is already getting louder.
This is one of the few new memecoins that has full cycle longevity, and I believe in the very short term people will begin to realise this as things start to materialise.
And Cedric, the founder of Flap only just followed the WangChai page the other day..
