NOW 🚨: Occupation soldiers, together with settler-terrorists, just murdered in cold blood two Palestinians, 17-year-old Khalil and 18-year-old Omar, in the village of Al-Mughayyir. For the past two weeks, Israel has been holding the entire village under siege. Al-Mughayyir needs as much attention as possible before it’s too late.

Settlers and the army have put up fences around the Ein al-Hilweh community, preventing residents from taking their livestock out to graze. Two nights ago, one of the shepherds couldn’t go to sleep knowing his cows were starving. At 2am he took them across the road to the only place he can still physically reach - a grassy wadi opposite his home, with a settlement built above it. Just so they could eat a little. Around 4am the settlement’s security head arrived, beat him, and called the army. The soldiers kept him there in handcuffs for more than two hours, then blindfolded him with an Israeli flag and took him to a military base, where they kicked him and left him in the sun for another four hours, before dumping him by the roadside more than 7 km from home. Denying access to grazing land and water, repeated arbitrary arrests, confiscations, demolitions, and other abuses - this is not “a handful of hilltop youth,” and not a few unruly Jewish terrorists. This is “settlement”: colonization, dispossession, and expulsion. Apartheid and ethnic cleansing. Animals dying of hunger in the name of a vile drive to occupy more land. And as for the use of the flag - nothing to add. There’s no subtext here.

The attacks and siege on Al-Mughayyir didn’t stop after Israel murdered two teenagers. The village is flooded with settlers and soldiers who continue to threaten Palestinian lives. Please, share everything you see about Al-Mughayyir!
