Amazing organizers, volunteers and attendees Devfest Ilorin 2025 @gdgIlorin. I led a hands-on workshop on building a Fullstack AI Agent with Gemini and Google ADK and packaged it as an SDK for developers reusability.

Another opportunity to learn and relearn @gdgIlorin 2026
Building an AI-powered customer support agent. Now comes the interesting part: how do you make it work?
Ahmed Olanrewaju is a Fullstack AI Engineer at Indicina and a GDG Ilorin organizer who has previously spoken at DevFest Ilorin. In his workshop, he’ll show you how to build an

This year at @gdgIlorin , we’ve been building ways to make a DevFest more than a day of talks.
DevFest CLI: trivia on Google tech, plus a keyboard treasure hunt in the terminal
DevFest TypeRace: race the room on your phone
DevFest Map: every DevFest in the world on one globe
Try them all 👉 devfestilorin.com/apps
Today we’re introducing Faaji 🎉
Faaji turns attendees into players. You earn quests and badges for:
→ attending sessions
→ trying codelabs
→ meeting new people
→ sharing your day on social
Don’t just attend. Experience it.
It’s not only for us. Any organizer can build quests for their own event or chapter and change them as the day goes.

Don’t just attend. Experience it.
All year, we’ve been building ways to make DevFest come alive:
🎮 DevFest CLI: trivia to learn about Google technologies, plus a treasure hunt that teaches keyboard navigation in the terminal
⌨️ DevFest TypeRace: how fast can you type? Race the room on your phone
🗺️ DevFest Map: every DevFest happening around the world, with each chapter and its past recordings
Now meet Faaji.
Faaji means enjoyment, and that’s the idea. Attendees go on quests: join sessions, try codelabs, meet new friends, share the moment. Every one earns progress, badges and a story of your day.
As Organizers, you can build quests for your own event and chapter, and keep adding to them.
First stop: DevFest Ilorin 2026, Nov 6-7.

How fast can you type? ⌨️
For DevFest Ilorin, our tech team built DevFest TypeRace, a Monkeytype-inspired typing game for the audience.
Race against the clock or a word count, add punctuation and numbers, try Blind Mode, or sign in with Google to climb the ranked leaderboard 🏆
Try it: devfestilorin.com/typerace
