With v3 now running on Mainnet Alpha, Ducat is bringing a more practical side of Bitcoin DeFi to life. The ability to borrow against BTC, work with native UNIT, manage vaults in real time, and handle liquidations directly on Bitcoin L1 makes the whole concept much more interesting. I’ve joined the ecosystem myself and actually spent time using the platform. Experiencing it firsthand gave me a much better understanding of what they’re building. Temple (@temple_ny) has built the #1 exchange on Canton by volume, synchronizer updates, and liquidity. Its TVL KPIs went live on @DefiLlama through CCTools. DefiLlama required an independent data source instead of the protocol’s own API. We normalize Temple’s Canton balances into a public feed, and the Temple adapter reads that feed directly. The result is a clear public view of Temple’s TVL, with CCTools explicitly credited as the data layer in the methodology. Canton’s financial markets should be visible and comparable beyond Canton.
