Five years ago I decided to do a deep dive into Thomas Sowell's work, and this podcast was my excuse to do it properly, and share my journey with others.
43 episodes and conversations with my favorite thinkers (Victor Davis Hanson, Theodore Dalrymple, Heather Mac Donald, Jason Riley, Dennis Prager and more) later — it's become something bigger than I expected it to be.
Starting last week, The Genius of Thomas Sowell Podcast has moved to a subscription only model here on X, and on Substack. This is a pivot — and also an investment. The move lets me go deeper: more guests, more great music and more of the ideas that got me hooked on Sowell in the first place.
My biggest "weakness" is that the only way I want to podcast is with the best possible preparation and production, which means that making each episode takes a huge amount of time. I want to keep making the show I'd want to listen to, and doing that right takes real time and resources.
