It makes sense today. Bitcoin is an option to own a finite asset while we print capital. It is a simple story that offers diversification from debasement that so many people want to hate because they feel like they missed it. Gold also needs incremental buyers as do all other non cash flowing assets. Before anyone attacks it they should study how long it takes "money" to be adopted. What Bitcoin has done globally in 17 years is astonishing. I have been to almost every continent in the past 7 years and spoken to people from so many different backgrounds. The reason an American may own Bitcoin appears different than someone in Venezuela but the common denominator is the same. Debasement. It just happens at different rates.
