Forgotten Island does so well not just to highlight Filipino culture but also how passionate we are about art and culture as a whole.
Telling stories, drawing, or even just karaoke are all an expression of how strongly we are moved by art and even inspires us to make our own.

So often you'll hear how Filipino kids were told just to hunker down with some science degree--that artistic expression was fine in moderation or special occasions but not as a career to pursue.
But we've been coming out of the woodworks more and more lately.

Forgotten Island was an absolute blast. As a lover of animation and a proud pinoy with loved ones whose memories keep me driven, it's everything I love about this genre.
Go see it if you support human animation and me specifically ❤️

Just met a personal VO goal: One audition for each day of the year. That's 365 reminders of how far I've come in living the dream, and I'm grateful for every single one of them.
Can we hit 500 by the end of the year? Let's find out.
