This is an important question because sometimes the life we live is influenced more by other people's opinions than by what we actually want. You may stay in a job because of what people will say. Avoid starting something because you're afraid of failing publicly. Stay quiet when you should speak. Or choose a path because it looks good to others, even though it doesn't feel right for you. Not every opinion deserves a vote in your life. How much of your life is being shaped by your own decisions and how much is being shaped by the fear of other people's opinions?

Would you rather trade; A) A beautiful level with no HTF context or B) An ugly-looking level aligned with strong HTF context? Choose one.

Are you the kind of person that reads a tweet with 100% focus? Once you start reading, everything else becomes a distraction? Or once you pick up your phone to game, write tweets or do anything, you don’t want anyone calling or talking to you because you don’t want your thoughts interrupted? Are you the kind of person that doesn’t like doing too much, but once you decide to start something, you MUST finish it? You can start a movie at night and even if it’s soooo long, you won’t rest until you get to the last episode 😂 When cooking, ironing or arranging your house, you want to do it yourself because you want everything to be exactly the way you want it. If most of these describe you, listen 👂 Trading multiple pairs may not be for you. Long swing trading may not be for you either. You may try to force yourself into it because you see other traders doing it, but deep down, you just won’t be comfortable with it. You probably need ONE thing you can understand in and out. One pair. One setup. One pattern. Something you can study deeply enough until you know exactly what you’re looking for. Because from the way your personality works, you can focus extremely well when you have one thing in front of you. And when you understand something, you understand it deeply. So instead of trying to trade everything, find the thing you can actually flow with. This is why understanding your personality is VERY important when finding your edge in trading. Your edge doesn’t always have to be something you discover in the market. Sometimes, you discover it by understanding yourself first.
