We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our friend, committed conservative, and longtime Turning Point UK adviser, Patrick Timms (@Ephelyon). Patrick passed away this morning after a long and courageous battle with a rare disease. Patrick had supported Turning Point UK since 2019. Having previously served as our Chief Technical Officer, he more recently became the driving force behind our website, generously giving his time and expertise to support our mission. Beyond his work with us, Patrick undertook undercover investigations to expose far-left organisations and activists, including Momentum, climate activists, the Socialist Workers Party, and prominent political figures such as Jeremy Corbyn and Diane Abbott. His investigations into political extremism received national media coverage. As a result of his work, Patrick was violently attacked by leftist thugs, yet he refused to be intimidated and remained committed to exposing those he believed threatened our democracy and values. Patrick was also proud of his regular appearances on @TalkTV and his Wolves of Westminster (@WoWestminster) project. He generously mentored many young conservatives, encouraging and supporting the next generation of activists. Patrick's passion, courage, and unwavering commitment to his beliefs earned him the respect and friendship of many across the conservative movement. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Patrick's family and loved ones at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
