Celebrating the workers and unions who keep Maryland moving — Greenbelt style!

Wishing my friend and brother in public service, Councilman Will Jawando, a speedy recovery following his medical emergency. I know he’ll soon be back stronger than ever to continue serving the residents of Montgomery County.

It was great to see so many Marylanders at the Greenbelt Labor Day Parade this morning. Here’s to the workers who power our communities and the unions that fight for them. Happy Labor Day!

Question 3 is on the ballot in November — giving Marylanders the power to approve future redistricting. We have a President that treats our democracy with utter contempt. The strength of our democracy depends on Maryland standing up in this moment. Vote yes for Question 3.

Republicans are the reason for the pain in our country. Democrats are focused on lowering costs, creating opportunity, and delivering for the American people. That's the future we are fighting for, and that's how we'll win in November.

It was an honor to join U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks and Scott Colom for Saturday's Voting Rights Town Hall. It is very important that we continue having conversations about protecting the right to vote with November around the corner.

I’m down in Mississippi campaigning for my friend @scott_colom, and I gave a Mississippi crab cake a try. It was good, but let’s be honest, nothing beats a Maryland crab cake 🦀

Ossoff: We've got Americans coming back from overseas in flag-draped coffins. In the last two weeks, nearly 100 wounded in action, at least four killed in action, in a war that they lied us into. They told us there was an imminent nuclear threat, a year after they told us they'd obliterated the threat. They told us in the second week they'd already destroyed the enemy. They told us over and over and over again that they'd won. That they were about to win…They keep telling us it's going to last just a couple more days, just a couple more weeks. And all of this incompetence is costing lives, and it's costing families across the country economically who are dealing with these out-of-control tariffs, who are dealing with gas prices.

This group is ready to organize, mobilize, and send @ossoff back to the Senate!

Happy Birthday, Senator Barbara Mikulski! It was wonderful to celebrate this superbad Marylander this weekend. Our state is forever better because of her leadership, and I’m proud to honor a true trailblazer whose example continues to inspire generations.

Sen. Alsobrooks slams Russ Vought: "I have to tell you, I couldn't wait to get here on behalf of the 160,000 federal employees in my state. The actions taken toward our federal employees has been evil, absolutely evil, and it is the most galling aspect of what I regard as shameful tenure, at the OMB as director, has been your outright animosity and blatant hostility toward our federal workers.”

Graham Platner needs to drop out of the Senate race in Maine immediately. These allegations are horrific. There is no place for this in the United States Senate.
