end of an era

💔

Thank you for giving me a place to have an event!

The way we got kicked off while we were giving our goodbye speeches to each other lol what’s even funnier was when I gave my speech my comms started messing up lol. It’s been real @AltspaceVR

Another beautiful independent project killed by @Microsoft and their unhinged greed.

Booooooo Microsoft 😒👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

Farewell AltSpace. I enjoyed your existence and am baffled by the timing of your closure. You were just one person with vision away from being successful. Maybe it will make sense if/when Mesh finally pops up.

Thank you for the memories the past 6 years. Where is everyone going for a new event space? Rec room?

Wow, I just came here because I got an email talking about the goodbye. Honestly, I never went on altspace much, but I will say that this was one of the best social VR games I’ve went to. I met so many people and had fun. It was a way for me to make friends and it was nice

A tragedy to watch any world end, even if virtual. What a great run, so sad it ended.

Without a doubt my favorite this to do on my oculus (not big into VR gaming)

good bye altspacevr😢

💔💔💔

Good riddance. Thanks for the $$$

rest in peace, had some fun times and met some funny people

We're back :p

Microsoft, can you PLEASE just bring back Altspace.. Something so beautiful was destroyed when you closed its doors. We need this back in our lives.

Such a huge disappointment. This was where I first found my love for VR.

It was an Amazing journey 🐱
