Two plays from last week I’m proud of. 💥 Sack + forced fumble 🧱 Blocked punt Always looking for ways to make an impact on defense and special teams. There’s still a lot to improve, but I’m putting in the work every week. 🎥⬇️ #Football #Defense #SpecialTeams #EarnIt

Tough 16-14 loss, but proud of how we competed until the final whistle. Defensive impact: 💥 8 tackles 💥 1 sack + forced fumble 💥 1 blocked punt 💥 4 QB hurries — 1 helped lead to a turnover Offensively, I added 3 catches. Not the result we wanted, but we battled through a tough game and kept it close. Back to work. 💪🏈 #Football #Work #Compete

Freshman football at Highland is off to a great start, and I’m loving every minute of it. 🏈 After our first 2 games, I went to my coaches and respectfully asked for an opportunity to contribute on both sides of the ball. I love playing TE/WR and didn’t want to give up on offense, but I also believed I could make an impact on defense. I understood their concerns about playing both ways, but I told them I was ready. Grateful to my coaches for trusting me with the opportunity to play DE, especially knowing we don’t normally play guys both ways. Last night: 🏈 2 catches, TD 💥 Blocking well 💥 1 sack 💥 2 TFL 💥 4 QB hurries 💥 Several tackles 💥 Strong containment I’m just getting started. Thankful for the opportunity and ready to keep working.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to work with Ross Apo down in Lehi, UT. I wanted to show some of the good things I was doing but also show the mistakes I am still making. Coach Apo was an absolute stud in breaking me down and building me back up. He not only told what I was doing wrong but showed me how to fix it, along with explaining why these things were important. This is one of my longer videos but I absolutely loved this session and the things I learned in a short amount of time. I’m looking forward to starting my freshman year at Highland this week.

Grateful for the opportunity to compete in the 8th grade Idaho Bowl this weekend. Finished with 4 receptions, 66 yards, and 1 TD while playing alongside some great athletes. We lost a close one 28-30, but I learned a lot and had a blast competing. Thank you to my coaches, teammates, and family for all of the support. More highlights to come. Back to work.
