After rewatching the game from the SkyCast view, I think it’s pretty simple. The play calling was conservative, but if Vols execute it was good enough to win the game. Tennessee’s OL lost way too many one on one matchups. Faizon Brandon held the ball too long and missed open guys. Brandon will get better, that was a tough spot. The OL didn’t play well, but not all 10 sacks were on them. Give the QB time to develop the right way.
