THIS is the part that should make people furious. Dr. Idris Evans dedicated his career to saving critically ill children. Now he is dead, his wife is critically injured, and their two children have been left traumatized after an attack inside the place they should have been safest—their own home. Police arrested 32-year-old Elijah Hemingway and charged him with criminal homicide, attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault and other offenses. But here’s the part I cannot get past: Hemingway was reportedly already OUT on non-monetary bail in an unrelated burglary case. How many times are families supposed to pay the price when someone accused of a crime is released back onto the streets? Gina Evans was stabbed and STILL managed to get her 8- and 12-year-old children out of that house alive. Those children escaped physically unharmed—but they lost their father and watched their mother fight for her life. Dr. Evans spent his life trying to save other people's children. Who was protecting his? Pray for Gina and those babies. 🙏🏻💔

I worked for the office that let him out. I walked away from my salary, pension and benefits because I could no longer be part of a system that was getting people killed. Millions in grant money were given to my office to reduce the jail population. My bosses made us recommend non-monetary bonds to get people out. Lower the jail population. Meet the grant objectives. Keep the money coming. I watched it from the inside. I wrote the bail recommendations. I watched people we assessed for risk get released and reoffend. I’ve spent years trying to expose what happened inside Allegheny County Pretrial Services. Years trying to get people to listen. Now Dr. Idris Evans is dead. His wife is critically injured. Two children have lost their father. This is why I walked away. And this is why I have never stopped trying to expose it. Share this. Help me expose them. It will save people’s lives.

It'll stop when the Judge's that release them are held criminally liable for their releasee's actions. When the first judge is sentenced, criminals will actually stay behind bars.

The judges who allow uncivilized monsters out with zero repercussions are just as uncivilized and monstrous as the scum that commit such atrocities.

We just had a rampage in my town last Sunday. He killed a poor innocent 76-year-old grandmother and then had a two hour shootout with cops in the woods. The perpetrator had been arrested 3 times in 13 days and was still out of jail to do this murder. He also started fires and wreaked havoc on our little town for good 16 hours. The judges who let all these thugs out should be held responsible for this poor choices.

Im for an "Eye for an Eye"!. If you take a life, then yours should be required. Give them a fair trial and if convicted, Capital Punishnent immediately, not 30 years from now. And they should be executed in the same manner as they executed their victim. Forget "humane" punishment. Their victim didnt receive Humane treatment.

What happens now? No cash bail again? The radical courts, massive immigration of enemies opposed to our way of life, now killing babies at birth. Democrats continually raise taxes to pay for this.Housing up every year. Dems are pursuing the systematic destruction of our society.

Grind him up. But first, grind up the judge(s) who put him back on the street rather than in prison where he belongs.

Judge needs to be in jail and fined as well.
Too many of these stories now. A judge signs a $0 bond A family pays with their lives while the liberal judges continue working their 9-5 A judge that releases a criminal and that criminal harms someone, that judge should held accountable as well The system keeps failing the people it was supposed to protect.

When a judge releases a criminal into the public I view that judge as the guardian of that release. They are responsible Hold these judges accountable

Dr. Idris Evans, another innocent human being, husband, father, neighbor murdered in his home. Why? Our lives are not safe anymore. This could have been anyone of us. Unfortunately, these vile vermin live among us because of a liberal justice system and weak law enforcement policies. Severe sentencing for criminals have to be reinstated. The rights of our innocent citizens to be protected are not being enforced with today’s technology!

Just curious… but at what point does vigilante justice gain traction? When law enforcement and the courts… PRIMARILY the courts lose effectiveness, when do citizens take over managing the safety of their families and communities? Again… just “curious”.

goes to show you that you can do everything right in life, help others, do good things and some lefty judge will release a criminal back on the street who will then kill that good person. WTF IS GOING ON and how much longer will we put up with this

Democrat NC judges and prosecutors now appear to be graded, promoted, and nominated for high public office based on obedience to the Leftist no-prisons ideal. 75 years ago most people in this state didn’t know where their house door keys were. Now we live with criminals.
