Transforming Africaโ€™s health workforce requires strong partnerships that connect education, innovation and practical skills to real-world health challenges. As part of the ongoing #AfricaHealthCollaborativeConvening, partners today visited @Kmtc_official to launch a podcast studio, strengthening opportunities for digital learning and knowledge sharing while exploring several training departments. The Amref Health Africaโ€“KMTC collaboration under #AHC in partnership with the @MastercardFdn, is already delivering impact. Entrepreneurship and soft skills training has reached 92 campuses, while three KMTC students recently received KES 100,000 each through AHC awards to advance their innovative ideas. Together, these partners are equipping future health professionals not only to deliver care, but also to innovate, create opportunities and shape the future of health in Africa.

Every maternal and perinatal death holds information that can help identify gaps in care and inform action to prevent future deaths. This depends on accurate documentation, timely reporting and the use of data to guide decisions. Over three days, Uzazi Salama, in collaboration with the Narok County Department of Health, trained Sub County Health Management Team (SCHMT) members on the new Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) tools and uploading reports to the KHIS Tracker. By strengthening participantsโ€™ practical skills in using these tools, the training lays the groundwork for more reliable reporting and better use of data to inform maternal and newborn health interventions. #MPDSR #DataForAction #MaternalHealth #NewbornHealth #Amref4PHC #AmrefMaternalMonday @MPESA_FDN @SafaricomFDN @NarokCountyGvt

A simple act can save lives. #Handwashing with soap and clean water helps prevent the spread of infectious diseases, including #Ebola, by removing germs that can cause infection. As we strengthen our response to Ebola and other public health threats, clean hands remain a powerful first line of defence. Wash your hands. Protect your family. Safeguard your community. Save lives. Make handwashing a habit, not an afterthought. Because every clean hand brings us one step closer to a healthier, safer world. #BeAHandwashingHero #AmrefWASHImpact #EbolaPrevention
