I need to get a copy of my BSC Adult Nursing degree certificate. I never received the original copy (I moved house). I have contacted @MyBCU @BCUSU @BCUPressOffice via phone multiple times and I'm getting nowhere fast. Can anyone help? 🙏

Well... that was quite a long break from Twitter, or X, whatever it's calling itself now

It's been a challenging few months, dealing with divorce, bereavement, house moves, and a degree. But it's my final exam next week, and I'm PRAYING I pass, so I can relax and settle into a new routine and my new life. If I can pass this exam, I can do anything 💪

I've been feeling rubbish for weeks, high BP, rash, exhausted, fuzzy head. Bloods came back yesterday, I either have or have recently had Strep A. Still feeling pants, but at least I know it's not the original diagnosis of stress.

Was awarded #employeeofthemonth alongside another fabulous colleague today. Bit embarrassed when presented with chocolates and a round of applause, but what a lovely thing to do

A patient challenges the PM over nurses pay. We move into the last week of our ballot for strike action so he needs to listen to patients and nursing staff. I’ve said over and over again - the voice of the nurse is the voice of the patient. Patients know the worth of nurses

So I'm on a placement day for my RN top up today, met another student nurse . Them: are you an associate? Me: yes, already a registered nursing associate, just doing the top up. Them: I would never do the associate role! Me: why is that? Them: it's just a waste of time Me:🤦‍♀️

Writing an assignment (trying) with a bored 8 year old demanding constant snacks on a rainy day is not fun 🙈 Thank goodness school is back next week!! #stressed #balancingact #research #assignment

Why are we so obsessed in the NHS by pay grade? Isn't it time we started addressing people by their job title and NOT by their banding? After all, there's MANY different roles at the same pay grade #nhspay #jobroleoverpaygrade #jobtitle

Patient: It's Amy isn't it? Me: Yes sorry, I've lost my name badge in the bin Patient: I'm terrible with names, but I always know its you because you have a distinctive but pleasant voice Me: oh, thank you, I think It was meant as a compliment, so I'll take it as one 🤣

We last saw a dentist is 2018 for an annual check up, 2019, 2020 and 2021 we couldn't get a routine appointment due to covid. I called today and we have been taken off their patient list and nowhere in our area are taking NHS patients. #frustrating #NHSdentist #help #whattodo
I had a great placement day on #haematology & #oncology @nhsuhcw with two excellent nurses that provided me with lots of learning opportunities and was able to offer some advice to a HCA that wanted to progress to NA

Leaving work in flood of tears because of a silly conversation that shouldn't have bothered me but did. I wish I could say at 37 I had developed a thicker skin, but some things will always hit an individual really hard
