He is 9 now - imagine the screaming and fighting going on at the start of each school year over who is forced to take this little shit into class. Frisk him and get arrested. Don't frisk him and possibly get dead. Decisions, decisions.....

1/ Update. So I just got an update about my nephew little Dominic. He's still recovering from open-heart surgery but there are good signs. I've waited to share a pic of him out of privacy, but the parents sent a few to share with y'all. So here he is with his adorable twin brother Jason, and their mom, Abbey. I'm also gonna share their fundraiser in the next tweet. These 4 months of Dom being in emergency care, in Boston, 2+ hours away has been incredibly hard for them, trying to pay bills while also commuting to be with Dom. You can read about how much Doms gone through there. It's staggering and a lot more than I've shared on here thus far. So if this speaks to you, please feel free to help them out. They need it. But either way please keep this little guy in your prayers as he keeps fighting. And share this if you're so inclined. Thanks friends.

A single dude brought in some chestnut trees from Japan in the 1800s for decoration and now almost no American Chestnuts exist because those imported trees carried chestnut blight Zero sympathy for people sneaking in agricultural goods. Stay out of my country.
Reading the replies to this, it’s amazing how many people don’t understand that this is how invasive species/pathogens are often introduced into the country, costing billions in crop and ecosystem damage. Good dog.

Hector went down with colic on Thursday night, and Nelson, who has never hurried in his life, walked the yard with him for an hour and a half. The farmer found him at ten, pawing, looking round at his own flank, dropping down and getting up again, which in a horse means his gut has stopped and you ring the vet and you walk him. You walk him so he does not roll, because a horse that rolls with a twisted gut can finish himself, and you walk him because walking sometimes shifts it, and you walk him because it is the only thing you can do and standing there is worse. The vet was forty minutes away. So the farmer put a headcollar on seventeen hands of trembling Cavalry Black and led him out of the shelter, round the yard, under the light, and the horse, who has walked in step beside a man for seventeen years, walked in step beside a man, with sweat coming through the thick new coat and his eye white at the corner. Nelson came out of the shelter behind them. A donkey walks when there is a reason to walk, and the reason is usually grass. He had been in his dry corner, in the straw, with the night exactly as he likes it, and he came out into the yard without being called, fell in on the horse's off side, and walked. The farmer did one lap. The donkey did one lap. The farmer did twenty laps and the donkey did twenty laps, at the horse's pace, two feet from his shoulder, and did not stop, and did not graze, and did not once look at the gate. When Hector tried to go down, the donkey was in the way. Not pushing. Standing where the horse wanted to drop, so the horse had to stay up. The vet came at twenty to eleven. He put a needle in the neck and the thing eased inside half an hour, which it usually does when it is going to, and Hector passed a load in the corner of the yard that the farmer said was the finest thing he had ever seen a horse do. The vet asked how long the donkey had been walking. The farmer said since ten. The vet said in twenty years he had seen a lot of people walk a colic and had never once seen anything else do it. By midnight Hector was eating hay, carefully, with Nelson next to him. The donkey had walked further in ninety minutes than he walks in a week, and he went back into the straw and lay down without looking at anybody. The farmer went in and sat at the kitchen table in his coat for a while. He is not a man who sits at the kitchen table in his coat. A horse has never asked that donkey for anything. The donkey has never been given an order. Somewhere in there they have come to an arrangement, and on Thursday night it was walking.

Family, here’s the route for my upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness 50-State Mowing Tour. 🎀🇺🇸 The states in white already have someone selected. The states in black are still looking for a story. If you know someone currently battling breast cancer, in remission, or someone who has lost a loved one, please nominate them. I’d be honored to mow their lawn, sit down with them, and help share their story. Even if your state is filled, please still submit—cancellations happen, and I’ll go back to the nomination list first. You can also support the tour with gas and travel expenses through the link below. Link: weareraisingmen.com/tour/

Caring for dumped animals, preventing 6 month old kittens from having 20 kittens every year gets you arrested. Caring for dumped humans, encouraging them to have a child every year gets you a gubmint grant.
🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Jacksonville FL after a 77-YEAR-OLD man with a BROKEN ANKLE, walking with a CANE, was put in HANDCUFFS at his own warehouse... ...for leaving cat food out for 7 stray cats he's cared for for 16 YEARS since his ONLY SON passed away!!! The charge? "Feeding raccoons." Florida put a grieving 77-year-old father in HANDCUFFS over a bowl of cat food. His name is Louis Abbruzze. In 2010, Louis and his wife lost their only son, and not long after, a few stray cats started showing up around their warehouse. They did everything right. Trapped them. Got them vaccinated. Got them fixed. Found homes for as many as they could. But even with all of that work, seven cats stayed. Every night for 16 YEARS, Louis has cracked the warehouse door so those cats can come in out of the weather, eat, and sleep. "These cats are not just cats," Louis said. "They're my children." "That's what kept my wife and I going. We found something that made us human again." Then, about a year and a half ago, the property's HOA hired new management. Suddenly the door had to stay shut. Then, somebody called Florida Fish and Wildlife and said a tenant was feeding raccoons. FWC officers came out and warned him and he was cited. Louis says he did exactly what they told him: feed the cats, and pull the food if a raccoon shows up. "I started doing exactly what the FWC said," he said. AND IT GETS WORSE. On September 15th, the officers came back. Not with another citation. With HANDCUFFS. "He says, 'Now turn around and put out your hands,'" Louis said. "Cuffed me. Put my cuffs on right there. I can't walk. I've got a broken ankle. I'm walking with a cane." They put a 77-year-old man with a cane in a car an hauled him off from his own property on a MISDEMEANOR. He says he was treated "as a common criminal." Meanwhile, in the same state, violent offenders walk out on no bond every single day. But the old man with the cats? Cuffs. LET THE MAN FEED HIS FREAKING CATS!!!!!!!

Family, in two days I begin my 22nd 50-State Mowing Tour. Since my first tour in 2017, I’ve used mowing and customized lawn mowers to serve others and bring awareness to different causes. Beginning October 1, I’ll travel to all 50 states over 20 days for breast cancer awareness—in honor of my aunt, who was recently diagnosed. I’ll mow for those currently battling breast cancer, those in remission, and those who have sadly lost a loved one. After each lawn, we’ll sit down to share their stories and talk about the importance of early detection. This journey is about more than mowing—it’s about listening, honoring loved ones, and reminding people they’re not alone. You can still nominate someone, even if your state is filled, because cancellations can open spots. You’ll also find ways to support the tour. Thank you for helping make this possible. I can’t wait to share these heartfelt stories and take you along on this journey. 💗 I’ll post the link in next post with cities/states
