Trumps actions against China: Cut them off from cheap oil from Venezuela and Iran. Passed a Russian sanctions bill that allows tariffs on countries that buy Russian oil. China is the largest supporter of Russia. This would be on top of the many sanction and tariffs the US already has on China. Creating critical mineral supply chains and reserve to combat Chinese control of these resources. Invited all US allies to sign on. Most have. Making a deal to get Belarus potash. China is currently the largest buyer of Belarus potash. Kicked them out of Panama and very publicly signed a Greenland deal that never allows them there. Had put massive resources into AI and data centers to beat China and Chinese control of this industry. All of this is to bring China to the table and force them trade fairly and hopefully end their support of Russia without war.
