Feel the cool air entering your nostrils and the warm air leaving your body. Now, we will begin a simple breathing pattern to ground your mind: Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of four. Hold your breath gently for a count of four. Exhale completely through your mouth for a count of four. Pause and rest at the bottom of the breath for a count of four. As you repeat this cycle, let your shoulders drop and release any tension in your jaw. If your mind starts to wander, simply notice the thought without judgment and gently bring your attention back to the counting. With every inhale, imagine breathing in calm and clarity. With every exhale, imagine releasing stress and distraction. Relax, breathe, enjoy.
