Your source of knowledge about #Angular. 🏆 Angular Hero of Education 2022

⏰ Last chance to join us live! Tests are supposed to protect your code. But when the underlying design is wrong, they end up protecting your mistakes instead 🚫 Here is how it happens: An #AIagent writes clean #Angular code and adds 9 passing unit tests. Everything looks green. But if the agent placed a business rule in the wrong layer, those tests won't catch it. → As a result, those well-written tests lock a bad architectural decision in place like wet concrete: the longer it sits, the harder it becomes to refactor. GDE @prodromouf will explain how to test code logic with AI without freezing poor architecture in his webinar: "AI Agents vs. Architecture: How to Stay in Control When Rules Aren't Enough" 📅 September 29 | 1 PM CEST ⭐ For Angular Developers at any level 🤝 Hosted by the CTO of House of Angular, @GrzegorzLipke Register for free now: buff.ly/vGGgjZO

Multiple switch case matching in #Angular22 ⚡ Until v22, when multiple switch cases required the same outcome, Angular templates offered no straightforward way to express that shared logic. This meant that developers had to either duplicate template code across cases or rely on awkward workarounds. 👉 In version 22, #Angular added support for multiple case matching in switch statements. The compiler recognizes empty cases that fall through to the next case, allowing several case values to share the same block of template logic. Consequently, templates behave more like native JavaScript switch statements. This improvement makes templates cleaner, reduces unnecessary duplication, and makes the control flow more intuitive for developers 🛠️ Do you find this change useful?

Before you write a single rule for your AI agent, ask yourself: Can it really be encoded? 🤔 ✅ What goes in a file: Library boundaries, naming conventions, and data flow. ❌ What doesn't: Product decisions and questions of intent. Trying to automate human judgment is where architectural chaos begins. And from there, green checks start lying to you. #GDE @prodromouf will show you how to spot where your architecture is breaking and where exactly the rules stop working: ⭐ Free webinar for #Angular Devs 🤖 "AI Agents vs. Architecture: How to Stay in Control When Rules Aren't Enough" 📅 September 29 | 1 PM CEST ⏱️ 45 min + live Q&A Register now → buff.ly/kbmYVyE

Is your #Angular testing suite struggling with maintenance overhead? Component harnesses within #AngularCDK offer 3 architectural advantages: 1️⃣ Code Reusability: Share interaction logic across different test suites seamlessly. 2️⃣ Readable Tests: Shift from low-level DOM manipulation to high-level methods like 'setValue()' or 'selectOption()'. 3️⃣ High Maintainability: Update your harness in one place when internal structures shift, keeping your test files untouched. Sounds like something you need? Dive into the technical implementation for your shared components in Miłosz Rutkowski’s new article, “Component Harness: Writing Tests That Survive Refactors.” ✅ Read it here: buff.ly/LeRfLHS P.S. Remember, if you don’t have time, you can now read only a summary, thanks to the new functionality on our blog 👀

👉 The problem with AI-generated code often isn't quality, but volume: More PRs, more diffs, more decisions per day than any review process was built to handle. That's why "all checks passed" stopped meaning much: AI agents produce clean, test-passing code, but still make architectural errors that a rushed review won’t catch. GDE @prodromouf will show you how to navigate this new reality in a free webinar for #AngularDevelopers: ⭐ "AI Agents vs. Architecture: How to Stay in Control When Rules Aren't Enough." 📅 September 29 | 1 PM CEST Join us for a 45-minute expert talk + a live Q&A session with the GDE. Your AI agent can get a ticket, write clean code, pass every test, and still put a business rule in the wrong layer of your architecture 😐 Your linter won't even catch it, and neither will your tests. So, how do you control that? Luckily, #GDE @prodromouf will break down this exact challenge in his free webinar: 🔥 "AI Agents vs. Architecture: How to Stay in Control When Rules Aren't Enough." 📅 September 29 | 1 PM CEST ⭐ Designed for senior #Angular Devs You'll learn: - How to name the exact moment an agent went wrong - Why "all checks passed" stopped being a reliable signal - Which rules you can encode for an agent once and which always need a human - What well-written tests cost you when the architecture underneath is wrong Register now → buff.ly/kbmYVyE

In #Angular22.2, each route definition will have an optional resources parameter where you can declare necessary resources for that route. 🛠️ By default, these resources will block the page load until they are fully resolved (similar to traditional resolvers or guards). If you want to opt out of this behavior (for example, to show skeleton loaders), you can wrap the resource in the nonBlocking() utility. Overall, this introduces a standard way to define resources at the route level. What do you think of this upcoming change? 💬

Instead of spending hours untangling legacy code by hand, make AI do it for you 🤖 If an app has no clear boundaries between files, every refactor feels risky, and old reactive code makes it worse 😬 How to fix it? Structure the app into a clean Modulith with Nx and connect legacy #RxJS to Signals to cut boilerplate. ➡️ Then, using #Angular MCP and Nx Graph, let AI handle the refactor instead of doing it file by file. But this change isn’t that simple. You’ll need good architecture knowledge and skills. → That's why GDE @prodromouf is running his “Scalable Architecture & Modern Reactivity with AI” workshop on October 9. 8 hours, hands-on the whole way: ✅ Structuring a workspace into a Modulith ✅ Enforcing architectural boundaries ✅ Working with Signals ✅ Migrating off RxJS boilerplate ⭐ Using Angular MCP + Nx Graph to let AI run the refactor And much more Pair it with the #SignalForms workshop to go deeper into reactivity. 💸 Early Bird pricing (-30%) is still available. Stability debugging in #Angular22 ⭐ 💪 Challenge: When #Angular apps take too long to stabilize, finding the cause can be difficult, especially with hydration, zoneless applications, or complex change detection. Without good diagnostics, developers often resort to trial and error. 🧠 v22 Solution: The provideStabilityDebugging() tool helps identify why an app stays unstable past the 9-second limit. With Zone.js, it works with the task-tracking plugin for more details on macrotasks. If stabilization fails, the tool logs pending tasks and stack traces to the console. 🤝 Benefit: It’s now easier to find what’s preventing Angular from stabilizing. Especially helpful for debugging hydration, zoneless behavior, or elusive async tasks. Rather than guess, devs see which tasks are pending and how they originated. 📤 Share this with your #dev buds!
