Today in Yagba East, we witnessed a painful reality that cannot be ignored. From Ife-Olukotun I and II to Okere, Ilohun, Ogbo, Ero, Aroke, Iyasin, Ilero, Aira, Ijemu, Sekinota and Osanran, many communities are struggling with poor roads and limited basic infrastructure, while insecurity continues to create fear among residents. In Amuro, Iddo, Idofin, Ijowa, Ilafin, Irunda, Isanlu-Itedo, Isanlu-Makutu, Isanlu-Mopa, Iye, Lofin and Odogbe, residents also face the painful reality of inadequate infrastructure, poor access roads, unreliable electricity and insecurity. Communities such as Agi, Aginmi-Isale, Aginmi-Oke, Aiyede, Aiyegunde-Oke, Aiyegunle-Okeagi, Alu, Ejuku, Ife-Olukotun, Igbagun, Igbo-Ero, Ilai, Imela, Isao, Jege, Odo-Amu, Ogbon, Ohun, Okeagi, Oranre, Ponyan and Takete-Isao are part of the same story: hardworking people who deserve better roads, electricity, water, security and access to opportunities. What touched me most today was seeing communities where people struggle to move freely because of bad roads, while also living with insecurity and inadequate public services. Some of these communities are effectively cut off during difficult weather conditions, making movement, farming, healthcare, education and business much harder. I cried today because these are not just statistics or names on a map. These are fathers, mothers, young people, farmers and children who deserve a decent life. The message of Comrade President Omoyele Sowore touched Yagba East today because we spoke directly about the problems people are facing, not just about politics. We have listened to them, we have seen their challenges, and we have made promises. Those promises must become action. Yagba East deserves good roads, electricity, clean water, security, schools, healthcare and economic opportunities. We will continue going home to home, street to street, community to community, ward to ward and LGA to LGA, listening to our people and organising for a better future. TAKE IT BACK. AAC — ACTION!
