this is, like, some new minimum for US presidential behavior. Or maybe even below it?
Biden certainly was not perfect, but to his credit, he never invited any hostile countries to bomb any U.S. cities.

LOL - our Jack is some guy!
Eric Schmitt: "Did you or did you not shoot and Kill Lee Harvey Oswald in the basement of the Dallas Police Department Headquarters on November 24, 1963?" Jack Smith: "Senator, I wasn't born until 1969. I believe you're confusing me with Jack Ruby."

I'm surprised Trump hasn't invited the Cornell 7 to the White House for McDonald's yet.

Two years ago the reflecting pool was reflecting, the East Wing existed and was welcoming visitors to the People’s House, and the Kennedy Center was financially stable and artistically thriving. Gasoline was semi-affordable and USAID was saving human lives all over the world. Go vote. We don’t have to live like this.

Sure, this is all very beautiful. I become more and more convinced, however, that the RC Church is committing one of history's great crimes by its exclusion of women and relentless relegation of them to the back of the class.

amazing the anxiety that a rapist might be unfairly charged that does not extend to the rape victim; as if the mere prospect that a person might be falsely accused of rape is of a horror far beyond the more mundane horror of the rape victims themselves.

It's true that cases should not be tried in the media. Consider, however, that the frat house has been closed and the chapter banned from campus. two men expelled. two or more suspended. Something bad went on there. Something very bad.

The presumption of innocence means that accusations must be subjected to scrutiny and judgment. What's your solution, exactly?

I too am an alumna of Cornell University, and now find myself deeply ashamed.
Cornell has issued a statement regarding the reopening of an investigation into the gang rape on campus in 2024. This is some weak tea. As an alum, I am grateful for all the pushback the school is receiving - please keep it up! I am embarrassed and ashamed to have the school as my alma mater.

I can't vouch for all of these but I have no doubt that the general picture is accurate.
The last 24 hours of news as a woman: - A man jacks off to the woman next to him on a plane. United makes her return to her seat. - 7 frat boys drug and gang rape a student for hours, and advertise “free p*ssy” to their frat. Cornell makes them write essays. - A football player rapes a student. LSU reduces his suspension. - A teen boy stalks and stabs a girl 10 times. Courts grant only a restraining order. - Brendan Carr spent 9 years in a cult raping teen girls. Trump made him FCC Chair.
