This August marks the 10th anniversary of Alipay Ant Forest, Ant Group’s green initiative that turns everyday low-carbon actions into tangible environmental impact. Since 2016, more than 700 million people across China have joined Ant Forest, helping support the planting of 700 million trees in some of China’s most arid and environmentally fragile regions. Over the past decade, Ant Group has invested more than US$759 million in tree-planting and ecological restoration projects initiated through Ant Forest. The impact also extends to local communities. These initiatives have created approximately 5.2 million job opportunities and generated US$115 million in additional income for local communities. 10 years of small actions adding up to beautiful changes. 🌍

Eric Jing, Chairman of Ant Group, said during a panel discussion titled "Steering the Global Future" at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 that the company’s focus is on putting new payment and operations tools powered by AI and tokenization technology in the hands of SMEs, to fully embrace the next wave of the global productivity revolution. On the consumer front, Jing expects the rise of personalized AI financial managers and advisors. On the business front, Jing said that the use of AI agents for payments, reservations and deposits is just the beginning. "AI agents in agentic systems have been working together to perform more complex tasks, and they must work together to ensure that everything can be completed efficiently," he said, adding that the ‘agentic payments’ wave will boom very quickly.
