Of course, movement matters in a football game, it matters massively. But focusing on every imperfect animation to the point where it overshadows everything else the gameplay does well misses the bigger picture. LOOK DEEPER THAN MOVEMENT. LOOK AT THE EXPERIENCE. I wanted to share these three moments from a match I played earlier, because I think they perfectly showcase what I mean. We say we want freedom, depth and variety in a football game - here it is. Watch the CPU, the scuffed shot, the loose ball, the decisions, the bit of brilliance for the goal and the unexpected outcomes. The ball feels FREE. Situations aren't always predetermined or perfectly clean. Things break down. Players improvise. Chances develop differently. There are MOMENTS we want. Is the movement PERFECT? Of course not. This is still FC26, and movement in this game is never going to be perfect. Yes, it has been dramatically improved and it feels far better in the hands than default FC26 - but this isn't about the movement, it's about looking further! We can't become so obsessed with eliminating every imperfect animation that we KILL the gameplay DEAD in the process, especially when doing that doesn't magically make the movement perfect anyway.
