Personally, I do not see ISLAM itself as the problem.
Islam, like Christianity, is a faith, a path through which people seek to connect with the Almighty, understand their purpose, and live according to their beliefs.
I honestly believe the problem lies not necessarily in the religion itself, but in how some people interpret, practise, and enforce its teachings, as well as in certain rules and traditions that have been preserved without sufficient questioning.
No religion or belief system should be beyond critical examination. The world evolves, societies change, and our understanding of humanity continues to grow. There must always be room for reflection, reform, and the courage to challenge practices that undermine human dignity, freedom, and equality.
I sincerely hope that future generations of Muslims will engage in these difficult conversations, question what needs to be questioned, and champion meaningful reforms where necessary.
Peace be unto you.
