Townfall hate is weird to me. It has a great story. Even on Nightmare difficulty I've had plenty of resources to distract or kill most enemies (you get a ton of melee weapons, so no reason to be stingy). I have over 20 pistol ammo... Guys, you just suck at games lol. #SilentHill

The game also dumps health items on you, some of which revive you on the spot to full health. Not to mention every mid/end chapter transition refills you to full health. If you think this stealth is difficult you haven't played RE7 on Madhouse or Amnesia the Bunker.

SH f and Townfall have the best character writing of the entire series. Even in terms of gameplay, they're both better than 2 Remake. The original still feels the most ambitious in scope, however. A larger, more open experience would be nice for the next one. #Konami #SilentHill

I'm a few hours into my first playthrough of Townfall. I'm playing on Nightmare difficulty and have had no problems with the stealth or combat. Bad performance is a fair criticism (PC), but its story, atmosphere, and gameplay are an easy 8/10. SHf>Townfall>SH2R. #SilentHill #PS5

I feel people getting frustrated are playing far too cautiously. You can sprint past enemies and hide in a number of nooks/hidey spots. I've died maybe three times so far on the highest difficulty available.
