I’ve known domainers who have flipped domains to buy houses and flipped houses to buy domains.
Owning and trading the Internet sounds like a lot less sweat compared to title, insurance, appraisals, county taxes, federal taxes, Home Depot visits, trash man, plumber, termite infestations, monthly gardeners, frozen pipes, forgetting to turn off the water, Nest cameras.
