Surprise! I'm extremely pleased to announce Pokémon Blaze Black 2 and Volt White 2 Redux version v2.0.0!
First of all, I'd like to give a massive, massive thank you to @DaSquyd and @QuestSpec for helping with development!
See the Reddit post for more info and an FAQ:

I've not got anything to share yet regarding release dates from Redux or Peaches Cascade White 2!
Later, u/TrustyPeaches was able to use this method to create map backgrounds at scale. Inspired, I created an improved pipeline for mass production and proved that these backgrounds can be made to run on real DS hardware!
We've also got some very exciting things coming up that I'm itching to share with you all - more news about v2 is on the way, hang tight!
We're working on things daily, thanks for being patient everyone! ♥️
We would alter the story slightly to accommodate the change.
Why make the change? That final stretch to Opelcuid is quite long and a little boring, whilst Marlon seems like an afterthought and is awkwardly straight after Drayden. This should improve the pacing of the lategame.
In vanilla you've also got two visits to the Frigate just about back-to-back, which is a little odd.
Just speculation, but I wonder if Marlon first was the original intention, but it was changed later into development.
Let me know what you all think!
Hey again! Here's a sneak peek at an upcoming new mechanic for Redux v2, the pool system!
Full details of this optional mechanic can be found on this Reddit post:

At a glance, certain trainers in v2 will use dynamically organised teams battle-to-battle, with each team slot drawing from a 'pool' of possible Pokémon.
We're not ready to announce a release for v2 just yet, but we're working on it daily!
Release is still far enough off you can play through v1 without worrying about stopping midway, but we aren't ready to give a specific date.
We appreciate your continued patience :)
