Notice what it says on the left about where Joseph Smith is prophesied about in Genesis.
It's towards the bottom.
"See also JST Gen. 50:33"
That stands for the Joseph Smith translation of the Bible Book of Genesis. Chapter 50 verse 33.
On the right is the Book of Genesis.
Genesis ends in chapter 50 verse 26.
So Joseph Smith wrote himself into the Bible to show he was a prophet.
This is the verse it's in Genesis 50:33 in the Joseph Smith translation of the Bible.
"33 And that seer will I bless, and they that seek to destroy him shall be confounded; for this promise I give unto you; for I will remember you from generation to generation; and his name shall be called Joseph, and it shall be after the name of his father; and he shall be like unto you; for the thing which the Lord shall bring forth by his hand shall bring my people unto salvation."
Interesting, "he shall be called Joseph, and it shall be after the name of his father".
Lol how incredibly convenient.
Crazy right?
That's why when people ask me if I take Mormonism seriously even a little bit my answer is always, "no, I don't even take it serious even a fraction of a little bit."
Joseph Smith wrote a prophecy about himself into his own translation of Genesis that he made up and you want me to take him seriously?
Not a freaking chance.
