Should authors stop trying to make their villains look cool or sympathetic and focus more on making them detestable to the audience? Should authors stop writing their villains like Shigaraki or Sukuna and try to write more villains like AFO or Kenjaku? People nowadays are entirely desensitized to death, murder and the suffering of others because it is not about them, so making a villain kill a bunch of people simply is not enough to make them "awful" to the audience, especially if they have a tragic backstory so the audience can downplay their actions, or they are presented so cool that the audience roots for them.

But is this the audience's fault for things being like this nowadays, or is it the natural result of a society that has forced us to be more apathetic and indifferent to suffering unless it personally affects us? Maybe is both, and neither.

When the account has Mirio or Dabi or a Gachiatuka character in their pfp I just know damn well my ass ain't welcome there.

I sometimes asked myself how the people who blocked me sees me. Maybe as an annoying asshole that deserved no good in his life or smth.

All this talk about merchandising and Fortnite skins and such has made me realize how wasted the potential of the timeskip designs are. At this point I was sure there would be a ton of merch and figures using the timeskip Class A designs, but noooooo here is another Zetta Deku!

If Fortnite does a MHA Wave 4, what characters would you like to see?
